The National Heritage Institute – cooperation with Regional Offices; the main focus: consulting, surveys and restoration of selected works of art and handicrafts administered by the National Heritage Institute

The National Library of the CR – long-term cooperation in the following areas:

The Scientific Library, Olomouc – long-term cooperation within the FR’s complementary activities, providing books for students’ thesis restoration projects, specialists employed by the Library participate in teaching the lessons of History of Bookbindings.
Regional archives – cooperation within the FR’s complementary activities, providing internship places for students’ summer practical experience; regional archives are a precious source of artefacts that are used in the lessons of specialized subjects.
The National Museum
- cooperation in providing lessons on selected subjects focusing on the technology of restoration
- cooperation in organizing students’ summer practical experience
- providing advisors’ and opponents’ opinions on our students’ theses
- planning joint research projects focused on the issues of conservation and restoration (paper, leather, etc.)
The National Technical Museum – cooperation in providing lessons on selected subjects focusing on the technology of restoration and in material analyses as part of surveys of works of art and handicrafts

The Town of Kutná Hora, The Town of Litomyšl and others – continuous cooperation in restoration treatments and surveys of historical artworks administered by the towns.
Cooperation with the application sphere, the Town of Litomyšl, the Pardubice region and experts in the heritage care
- cooperation with the application sphere in planning and conducting projects in the application research
- involving students, chiefly of Master’s studies, in projects that are carried out in cooperation with the application sphere
- continuous realization in students’ internships in the application sphere and in institutions in the Czech Republic
- consultation with experts on innovation of the study programme content according to the future needs of the specialized restoration practice
- consultations with experts and application sphere in solving questions/problems in the restoration and surveying of national heritage sites
- organizing and keeping records of the lifelong learning courses
- the role of the FR as a key part of the social and cultural life in Litomyšl and the region
- keeping and improving the quality of cooperation with other universities (VŠCHT, ČVUT – Faculty of Civil Engineering, AVU Prague, Faculty of Arts, Palacký University, Olomouc) and foreign universities (Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien, Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien, Hoschule für bildende Künste Dresden, University Dubrovnik, Vysoká škola výtvarných umení Bratislava, Universitat Politècnica de València and others).
