Faculty of Restoration conducts research and provides education in the fields aimed at restoring and preserving various types of paper artifacts. The subject of research in the project will VEPA testing of materials and methods for stabilization of color layer on a paper substrate. Results of testing verified in practice and published. VEPA aim of the project is to create a research team of experts led by a foreign expert. The project will increase the academic qualification of the Faculty of restoration, so that after the departure of foreign experts to work in the research to continue. Assumed involvement of team members in international networks and R & D projects. The project will research team able to solve complex multidisciplinary problems of restoration and conservation of works of paper with a colored coating. The project will also increase the level and quality of research and university education in the restoration course in the Czech Republic and enhance competitiveness within the EU. The project will be focused so that it contributes to sustainable development.
