From the academic year 2015/16 on, a restoration specialization in new material will be taught at the Faculty of Restoration. The specialization is called Restoration of artworks and handicrafts on fabric support. It is necessary to provide equipment to the newly set-up workplace so that the lessons could take place. It must comply with the needs of the additional lessons within the subjects of Techniques of restoration according to the particular semester and specialization. The subject will be taught in the studio in practical lessons taking up most of the studying time. The aim of the project is to purchase the equipment for the innovated study programme of Fine arts. For the newly extended specialization it is necessary to prepare a workplace which would enable students to be taught and practise especially practical handicraft skills and which would at the same time correspond with graduates? profiles as stated in the extended re-accreditation documents.
