The project focuses on carrying out a complete restoration survey of two Baroque paintings from the Way of the Cross in the Dean?s Church in Litomyšl by Josef Cereghetti from 1773. They represent a high-quality example of late Baroque painting originated in the region of Eastern Bohemia, which deals with the topic of passion iconography. As part of the project, an art-historical research will be performed concerning the author as well as the circumstances of the origins of the Way of the Cross in Litomyšl.
