The project deals with the shape and iconographical interpretation of a collection of medieval wall paintings in St. Vitus Church in Zahrádka (the Havlíčkův Brod region) originating from 14th century. Considering the fragmental condition of the original paintings, it is not possible to hope for substantial retouching or reconstruction, which would noticeably enhance the legibility of the paintings. The goal of the project is to assess the findings gained during the restoration works and art-historical survey of the paintings and make them available to the general public.
