Description:
The matter of investigation will be survey of wall paintings using multispectral imaging, which includes pictures taken under electromagnetic radiation in IR, VIS and UV spectres. Also, so called false colour imaging, when some of RGB channels of VIS photography are replaced by IR and UV rephlectography images, will be used. We plan to investigate shooting possibilities of pictures with usual camera, although with removed internal cut-off filter. This adjustment allows shooting in IR and UV spectre, which ranges are for unadjusted cameras unreachable. Taking of pictures with such adjusted camera is financially accessible replacement of sophisticated, but very expensive devices. This replacement brings possibilities of wide spreading of this method in usual restoration practise. Important part of the work is also a definition of suitable taking and subsequent editing conditions for gaining of all described categories of pictures.
