Description:
The project deals with the post-war theory and practice of conservation of polychrome sculptures. It will evaluate the impact of the European theory of conservation on the Czech environment and will examine period practice from preserved restoration reports and published articles. Emphasis will be placed mainly on theoretical issues of the final presentation of the work of art. The results of the project will be the basis for Zuzana Auská's dissertation, also there will be published expert study in peer-reviewed journal.
