The project deals with the issue of starched tracing cloths with a glossy surface used mainly for architectural and mining plan creation in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The issue of the tracing cloth was lightly discussed in the bachelor thesis of BcA. Anežka Šebestová. The project aims to extend knowledge on these objects based on deeper research supported by specialized literature and scientific and historical surveys. The experimental part focuses on the possibilities of conservation and restoration methods.
