Description:
The project is based on long-term cooperation in the conservation of statues in Nové les near Kuksu. This is an extremely valuable set of sculptures and reliefs cut directly into the rock in the years 1718?1732 by Matyáš Bernard Braun. One of the problems that needs to be solved is the local consolidation of disturbed places, which are, however, stably moistened. The project will focus on the possibilities of strengthening wetted stone and evaluating the risks associated with the use of the tested means. The aim of the project is to find a suitable method of conservation of this object.
