V případě, kdy nemůže být objekt izolován od vzlínající vody nebo když nemůže být kvůli vysokému stupni zasolení použit proces odsolování, je často užito sanační omítky. Sanační omítka však není mnohdy zcela vhodná z důvodu její tvrdosti, barevnosti a dalších vlastností. Řešením v takovýchto případech by mohly být modifikované porézní omítky. Omítky mohou být modifikovány náhradou klasického plniva porézním plnivem, které má vyšší kapacitu pro ukládání vodorozpustných solí. V tomto článku jsou popsány základní vlastnosti vápenných omítek s částečně nebo zcela nahrazeným silikátovým plnivem přírodním či umělým porézním plnivem. Jsou zde porovnány mechanické vlastnosti, hustota, nasákavost a porozita těchto malt. Sorpční kapacita malt byla stanovena z nárůstu hmotnosti po nasycení roztoky solí a jejich krystalizaci. eng Lime mortars modified towards higher resistance to the influence of water-soluble salts – New possibilities for architectural monuments’ restoration Water-soluble salts are a major cause of damage to plasters in objects of architectural heritage. Two procedures commonly employed to reduce the content in salt in objects are to decrease of the humidity in the object and desalination. These procedures are often effective, but cannot be applied on objects which cannot be isolated from capillary rising water. Similarly, very high levels of contamination with salts cannot be treated using desalination. The disproportionatly high costs of these methods also limits their application. Thus, such problems are mainly solved through the use of renovation plasters. However, these are not always appropriate due to characteristics such as their hardness and colour etc. Modified porous plasters might be an alternative solution in such cases. Plasters can be modified by the replacement of the classical filler with the filler being replaced by a porous aggregate such as Liapor, Perlite, pumice from Germany and Greece and zeolite which have a higher capacity for absorbing water-soluble salts. The basic properties of lime plasters produced with partial or complete replacement of the silica aggregate by natural or artificial porous fillers are described in this poster. Results of the measurement of tensile strength under bending, density, absorption at normal pressure after saturation with water for 48 hours and pool porosimetry are presented Lime mortars;water-soluble salts;resistance to the influence of water-soluble salts;architectural monuments’ restoration
