Fourth-year students work in studios or in the field on practical bachelor's thesis, which is an independent solution of a restoration task in the full range from a thorough restoration survey, through the preparation of a restoration proposal, to the restoration itself and the preparation of restoration documentation. The work is continuously consulted with technologists, conservation representatives and is supervised by restoration educators. The procedures and technologies used are chosen on the basis of thorough testing. Students regularly present their results and restoration procedures to their classmates and students from other studios.
