During the first year, students undergo intensive art training and theoretical instruction. The ratio of studio and theoretical training is approximately 1:1. The art training, which takes place under the auspices of the Art Training Studio, focuses first on classical studio drawing (1st semester), followed by colour theory and painting (2nd semester).
