Our students and teachers from the Studio of Restoration of Stone are currently carrying out cleaning and conservation treatment of the sculptures and reliefs in Nový Les near Kuks. The set of Baroque artworks was declared to be a national cultural monument in 2001 and it was included in the UNESCO tentative list.
The treatment of the monument is performed within a long-term cooperation between the Faculty of Restoration and the National Heritage Institute. The activity follows the research project funded by the Ministry of Culture, NAKI – Selected procedures in cultural heritage to improve care for sculptures and buildings.
