Nejzajímavějšími zjištěními byla identifikace druhu plátna, které bylo určeno jako bavlněné, technika malby tří z podobizen, která byla určena jako mastná tempera a v neposlední řadě objev významné změny kompozice při malbě portrétu Marie Terezie. eng	An overall examination of four baroque portraits from the collection of the castle Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou	Four paintings from the Baroque portrait collection of the castle of Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou were chosen for the examination and overall conservation. The condition of the paintings, extent of their damage, the painting technique and type of materials used were identified by both non-invasive and invasive methods of examination. Identification of cotton fibres in the canvases of the paintings was one of the most interesting findings as well as the identification of greasy tempera as the main technique of painting. Another interesting information gained from the investigation was that there were considerable changes in the composition during the execution of the portrait of Maria Theresia.
